50s Super Drift Caddy car: Finish in first place on the Denver Spectra race in Duel mode to unlock the '50s Super Drift Caddy car for the Free Run, Time Attack, and Duel modes.

Unlock 99 Lap mode: Set the top score in every race of the Time Attack GP in Extra mode, finishing in first place in all of them.

Control the intro: During the intro, press L1 and R1 to cycle through three different effects for the portion that uses the in-game graphics. Press R1 once for black and white graphics. Press R1 twice for graphics with a yellow tint. Press R1 three times to add blurriness. Press L1 to cycle back through the various effects.

Unlock Duel mode: Finish in first place in both the lap and overall times in the Standard Time Attack GP.

Have some fun useless information on the screen: When you are racing in the third-person view, hold Select to show information onscreen that includes the amount of pressure you are using on the controller buttons.

Unlock the Devil Drift car: Finish in first place on the Rivelta Crinale race in Duel mode to unlock the Devil Drift car for Free Run, Time Attack, and Duel modes.

Unlock the Volkswagen Beetle: Finish in first place in the Solort Rumeur race in Duel mode to unlock the new Volkswagen Beetle for the Free Run, Time Attack, and Duel modes.

Tip: To unlock the VW Beetle, finish first in the Solort Rumeur race in Vs. mode.

Tip: The buttons on the Dual Shock 2 controller are analog, so how hard you press on the brake button affects how your car reacts.

Tip: Getting a good position during the first lap is critical if you want to place in the race. If you are farther behind than sixth or seventh place, you might as well restart the game, because you're not going to catch up.

Tip: Free Run mode is a valuable tool for beginning players, who can use it to practice powersliding, braking, and turning at high speeds.

Tip: Always center yourself on the track; it makes it harder for the AI cars to pass you.
