Manual Entry 
The first and easier way to activate cheat codes in THPS3 is to do it 
the manual way. In order to do this, you must do the following: 
Start a game (any mode) 

Pause and hold the L1 button Enter the code listed below 
For now, only a few codes are known. More will come. Here is a key to 
the button presses. Key U = Up D = Down L = Left R = Right T = Triangle X = X S = 
Square C = Circle

Many times, these codes spell things out, some obvious, some witty. 
This makes them much easier to remember. I've made breaks in their listings 
to help you out with that. 

For instance, the Turbo Mode code is Left, Up, Square, Triangle - or LUST. 
To turn off these codes, simply pause and reenter the cheat.
